As the official master distributor of GstarCAD in Korea, Modoo Solution Co., Ltd. held the “2026 GstarCAD Partner Kickoff” on January 14 at Conrad Seoul in Yeouido, bringing together domestic partners to share its 2026 business strategy and future plans for partner collaboration.
The kickoff was organized to strengthen cooperation with GstarCAD partners in Korea and brought together key representatives from leading partner companies nationwide. The program included a review of 2025 business performance, sales and marketing strategies for 2026, Gstarsoft’s global business strategy, presentations on industrial technologies and use cases, and a partner awards ceremony.
The
event opened with a welcome address by Chung-Gu Jung, CEO of Modoo Solution.
“GstarCAD has established itself as a strong alternative in the Korean CAD
market based on its competitive pricing and stable performance,” said Jung. “In
2026, we aim to further strengthen platform competitiveness together with our
partners and achieve sustainable growth.”
“GstarCAD is rapidly expanding beyond the replacement market for existing CAD users into industry-specific demand across manufacturing, construction, and plant engineering,” said Ki-Jung Sung, Executive Vice President in charge of the GstarCAD Business Division at Modoo Solution. “In 2026, we will further reinforce a partner-centric sales structure while accelerating the localization and market adoption of GstarCAD 365 Business, which was launched by Gstarsoft last year.”
He added, “New products, including upcoming BIM solutions, will be introduced to the market step by step through close collaboration with our partners. By expanding the GstarCAD-centered portfolio, we will continue to enhance our market responsiveness and overall business competitiveness.”
The
event also featured a keynote presentation by Meiyu Hwang, Vice President of
Gstarsoft, who spoke about GstarCAD’s mid- to long-term product roadmap and
global business vision.
“Over the past 30 years, GstarCAD has grown based on proprietary core
technologies and has now evolved into a global CAD product family supporting
multi-platform environments such as Windows, Linux, and macOS,” said Hwang.
“In a rapidly changing industrial landscape, GstarCAD is evolving beyond a
simple drafting tool into an industrial software platform that delivers
intelligent design experiences, collaboration, and an open ecosystem. Over the
next three to five years, we will focus on four core strategies: extreme
performance and stability, continuous functional innovation, multi-platform
compatibility, and the expansion of the developer ecosystem, to further
strengthen our global competitiveness.”
Subsequently, Sang-Jin Kim, Director at Modoo Solution, delivered a customer case
presentation titled “End-to-End Processes from Design to Drawing
Distribution.”
Based on actual customer environments, Kim showcased how the entire
workflow—from design data creation and management to drawing sharing with
partners—was streamlined using GstarCAD and related solutions. He emphasized
that “Modoo Solution’s product portfolio, centered on GstarCAD, enables an
integrated response across the entire workflow, from design and data management
to collaboration and drawing distribution.”
“Modoo Solution” stated, “This partner kickoff provided a comprehensive overview of GstarCAD’s 2026 business direction, partner collaboration strategy, and real-world application cases. We will continue to strengthen GstarCAD’s business competitiveness through close and ongoing cooperation with our partners.”
GstarCAD is a global CAD solution developed
